More than 2,700 people visited Cal State Long Beach on July 20 for the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics annual open house. The community event showcased the college's research and achievements while engaging children in educational activities.
A Return to the Community
The Department celebrates the return of opportunities to 'practice' teaching science in our local community. We are grateful to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach and Kettering Elementary School for welcoming 91ÌÒÉ« students into their learning spaces, and giving our future elementary teachers a chance to see how kids engage with science first-hand.
