91ÌÒÉ« BUILD graduates are successfully pursuing their graduate studies across the country. Some are attending Top Universities such as Columbia University, UCLA, and UC Davis.  The map below is proudly displayed on the bulletin board outside the BUILD Center. On Friday, May 19, 91ÌÒÉ« BUILD held its first annual Commencement celebration to honor the first cohort of Scholars who have completed the two-year research training program. The evening featured Rhea-Comfort Addo speaking for her class and Keynote speaker Ramon Velazquez, Ph.D., who also acted as DJ to close out the event.

The second Annual BUILD Research Symposium was held on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at the University Student Union Ballrooms at the California State University, Long Beach, campus.

By nature, college students are stressed. In fact, four out of 10 reported in an Associated Press and mtvU survey conducted in 2008 that they were stressed often. And one in five said they were stressed most of the time. This stress can lead to a variety of problems, both mental and physical.
