“Body Parts” produced by Associate Professor of Creative Nonfiction, Helen Hood Scheer scheduled for its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival. 

The annual 91��ɫ Week of Research, Scholarly, and Creative Activity (RSCA) featured “Best of the Beach” a screening of CSU Media Arts Festival finalists and award-winning films from the 91��ɫ Film & Electronic Arts Department.     

CBS Leadership Pipeline Challenge, arms 35 early-career storytellers with $5,000 budgets to make mission-inspired short films. Film & Electronic Arts Department student Moises Marquez-Cayo was one of 35 students selected. 

Not donuts…not bagels…it’s pan dulce! 91��ɫ alum and former Film & Electronic Arts Department Creative Nonfiction student, Paula Kiley produces a video about pan dulce for KCET’s Pan Dulce Project. The project explores how pan dulce connects communities and celebrates Latin American culture through years of traditions making this sweet baked…

Adam Moore, Film & Electronic Arts Department Interim Department Chair and Assistant Professor of Screenwriting recognized by the university as the recipient of the 91��ɫ 2022 Distinguished Faculty Teaching award. 

91��ɫ Film production management student Mario Arita serves as a crew member for the 2022 Superbowl LVI halftime show at SoFi Stadium.

The Arts Festival is presented by the College of Arts and co-produced by the museum, the Carpenter Performing Arts Center, the Bob Cole Conservatory of Music, the School of Art, and the departments of dance, design, theater arts, and film & electronic arts.

Film & Electronic Arts Department Associate Professor Helen Hood Scheer will pitch her Sundance supported documentary, "Body Parts" at CPH:FORUM at the 2022 Copenhagen International Documentary Film Festival, one of the most prestigious pitching events in the documentary field.

Andrea Ureno '08 wins the BEST NEW FILMMAKER AWARD for her documentary “A Girl Can Change The World “edited by 91��ɫ film faculty member Jack Tucker at the City of Angels Women's Film Festival.
