Doug Pace (marine biology), Siavash Ahrar (biomedical engineering),… 22 October, 2024 New Faculty in 2024-2025 The College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics is proud to welcome 6 new faculty members to our college! 18 September, 2024 From Whale Bones to Rocket Science, 3D Printing Transforms Student Research Biology Professor Ted Stankowich utilized 3D printing to give his students a hands-on anatomy lesson in assembling a replicated humpback whale skeleton. The 13-foot model is suspended from the ceiling of the Mammal Lab. These types of collaboration foster a sense of community and achievement for CNSM students. 6 August, 2024 91ÌÒÉ« and California Resources Corporation Combine Forces to Save Coastal Environments The California Resources Corporation and CNSM have teamed up to create the Urban Coast Fund and support research into protecting our local coastline. 31 July, 2024 CNSM Faculty Awarded $4.2M NSF Grant for Materials Science Research and Education 91ÌÒÉ« faculty have been awarded a 6-year $4.2M grant from the NSF's Partnership for Research and Education in Materials (PREM) program.
