That's where Professor Alex Klotz in Physics and Professor Ryan Blair in Math come in. 18 June, 2023 Data Day 2023 The first annual Data Day at the Beach was held on April 22, 2023, at CSU Long Beach! Participants attended a panel with data science industry professionals and engaged in hands-on data-related activities in the computer lab. 28 March, 2023 Math Day at the Beach 2023 On March 11, 2023, the 22nd Math Day at the Beach event was hosted on the California State University, Long Beach campus. Math Day at the Beach is a problem-solving festival for Southern California high school students who want to have fun with mathematics and enjoy a day of camaraderie with university mathematics students and professors. 18 March, 2022 Math Day at the Beach 2022 Winners On March 12, 2022, Math Day at the Beach was hosted on the CSU Long Beach campus after a 2-year hiatus. The event is a problem-solving festival for SoCal high school students who want to have fun with math and enjoy a day of camaraderie with university math students and professors. 19 February, 2021 A Winning Formula Dr. Kagba Suaray, a professor in the Mathematics and Statistics Department at 91ÌÒÉ«, is at the helm of national movement to get Black kids excited about math. 20 November, 2020 Bang the Drum - Geometric Analysis in Higher Dimensions Dr. Lihan Wang, assistant professor of mathematics at 91ÌÒÉ«, uses geometric analysis involving differential equations and geometry in her research examining unique shapes and how we interact with the universe around us.
