 91ÌÒÉ« HOLIDAY ART SALE

The School of Art's Animation program in conjunction with Film and Electronic Arts program will be having an outdoor screening of student films on Friday November 3rd, from 5:30 to 8pm, in the quad area outside FA4 building. The screening begins at dark (around 6pm) with about 90 minutes of films.

Five films from 91ÌÒÉ« animation students will be shown on the big screen of the historic TCL "Grauman's" Chinese Theater in Hollywood as part of the Animation is Film Festival taking place 7pm on October 22, 2023.

The 24-Hour Animation contest is back for its 21st year!

91ÌÒÉ« Animation student Ivy Gonzalez has been chosen as a finalist for KCET's Fine Cut Festival of Films. This is the 24th season of Fine Cut Festival of Films, a collection of works by young Southern Californian filmmakers.

Our journey as a cohort began in a time of uncertainty, testing our resilience while revealing the strength of our community. Together, we have endured hardship and celebrated success.

"Lucid in The Ether of What" is a group show by students in Art-450 and Art-550 classes in the BFA & MFA Sculpture Program at the School of Art at 91ÌÒÉ«. The open reception is open to the public on Friday, May 12th and the show is on the view afterward until May 12th by appointment.

The 2023 91ÌÒÉ« AnimationShowcase will be premiering its films at the Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills on May 18, 2023. These are a selection of animated films that have been curated to offer up the Best of the Best of 91ÌÒÉ« Animation Talent.

91ÌÒÉ« Photography Assistant Professor Lacey Lennon is having a solo exhibition at the Oresman Gallery, Brown Fine Arts Center, located at Smith College, Northampton, MA. Congratulations, Professor Lennon!! 

This year two 91ÌÒÉ« BFA Illustration Students, Sophie Lin and Nina Walker, had pieces accepted to the highly competitive Society of Illustrators Student Competition!
